It is a technology that uses fiber optic cables to connect your home to the Internet.  A fiber optic connection transmits information through light over small, flexible glass fibers.  Fiber refers to the glass, while optic refers to the light. It is extremely fast and highly reliable, especially over long distances.

Cable internet shares bandwidth with other users in your area and uses asymmetrical speeds where upload speeds are much slower than download speeds.  On the other hand, fiber internet offers a symmetrical service where the upload speed is the same as the download speed.

We will collect your information and give you a call when service is available in your area.  At that time, we will schedule your installation and have you sign a terms-of-use agreement.

There are no penalties if you change your mind.  All you need to do is call our office at (662) 423-4650 to make any changes.

Fiber will follow the power lines in most cases.  If you have an underground electric service, your fiber will be underground.

There is no tax on internet service. There are standard taxes on voice service that we will pass through your bill. There are no taxes or other fees from the rates above that are not required.

No. Prices will remain constant for as long as is feasible.

No, there is no installation fee.

No, there is no contract required.

No, there are no data caps.

Yes, the router/modem is included in the installation. Tishomingo Connect, LLC retains ownership of the equipment but does not charge a monthly lease fee. Your equipment will be kept up-to-date and replaced if there are malfunctions due to manufacturer issues. You are required to return your router/modem if you decide to cancel your service to avoid a fee.

You can, but we will not be able to remotely access your equipment for troubleshooting, if necessary.

Yes, your bill will be separate from your electric bill. Bills are sent via email to our customers to help keep costs and prices low.  Internet/voice services are billed ahead. When you pay your bill in August, it will be for the September service.
